The exabyte is a multiple of the unit byte for digital information. The prefix exa indicates the sixth power of 1,000 and means 10¹⁸ in the International System of Units (SI), and therefore 1 exabyte is one quintillion bytes (short scale). The unit symbol for the exabyte is EB.
1 EB = 1000000000000000000B = 10¹⁸bytes = 1000petabytes = 1 billion gigabytes.
