Trademarks
Air Mauritius, is the flag carrier of Mauritius. Red celebrates independence. Blue is symbolic of the Indian Ocean. Yellow expresses hope for a bright future. Green represents agriculture and vegetation. Trademark Design's strategy is to make the journey to this paradise isle part of the experience of a bright, light, fun holiday mode, without losing the sense of security. This is achieved by flying the colours of the flag across each different application. Illustrated here is the fuselage and tail plane application shown from different aspects. The front of the fuselage carries the logotype and rectangular trademark. The cabin interior is economically decorated with red, blue, yellow and green seat upholstery. Land vehicles display the same rectangular trademark. Stationery continues the theme of bright, light and fun. The company is the fourth largest carrier in Sub-Saharan Africa, and has an important standing in the European, African, and Indian Ocean region markets. Air Mauritius won the "2011 Indian Ocean Leading Airline Prize", making it the seventh year in a row to win the award. It also performs a range of services in Mauritius for international airlines.
